A visit to a friend's cottage in an old fishing village more than 20 years ago has proved to be a constant inspiration and a major influence on her artwork.

My name is Kerry Egan and I am an artist/illustrator/nurse from Paisley. I grew up in an artistic family and was encouraged to draw from an early age. Growing up near Gleniffer Braes, nature and wildlife were an early influence on me.

A trip to Covie, over 20 years has provided me with a constant source of inspiration since. I mainly work in gouache, but have been more experimental in my recent work.
