Diane Jeavons

it started when my sister came to stay three years ago and bought me a small watercolour palette. I painted some portraits of my grandchildren and what began as a pastime has become a passion. Having left school at 15, I have had no formal art training but studied History of Art as a mature student as part of my degree which gave me a love of art. 

'I joined Art School Wales to learn the basics and many new techniques.  I now paint in many different genres and have exhibited at local galleries.  I sold my first painting when I was 70 years old.
