I delight in the simple presence of an animal just being “itself” and it is from this simple presence that I notice and sense a shared connection within all of nature

I also enjoy the uniqueness of each animal and I endeavour to communicate some of the essence of their character in my work.

The medium of clay gives me the material to give shape and form the subject I am observing.

And as I work there is a deep resonance of connectedness which I feel communicates itself in and through the clay form.
