James Speirs Martin

I am A Contemporary Artist , I work with Oils Acrylc and water Colours, my preference is Oils never thought I could it but fell in love with Oils I was Born in Govan in Glasgow and served my Apprenticeship in the Shipyards, I was born on the 21/07/1951, at that time round about 1965 my father would liked to have sent me to Art School we never had the Funds to do so, it wasn't to be. My Hobbies are Music Art and Literature I don't watch much TV prefer to avoid it these days, Sometimes I like to delve into Japanese Culture which I find fascinating and other times Landscapes depending on how I feel. I exhibited two of my Landscapes into a well known Gallery in Glasgow one sold the other is still there. I have two grown up children, One a Project Manager at Glasgow University the Other an Undewriter. Two of my best critics are my Daughter And Son In law, I have been Married to my wife Louise for 50 years. J.S.MARTIN
