Hazel Ritchie

I’m drawn to creating patterns in my art. The starting point could be a piece of fabric or the natural rock formation found on a beach. I start with an initial composition but enjoy the evolution of a painting that occurs in the painting process. This makes every new painting an exciting journey for me. I hope my enjoyment in the process comes across to the viewer and they can find pleasure in the finished work.
