Carolyn Laidlaw is a contemporary abstract artist currently living in South Ayrshire, Scotland. Her abstract style is concerned with creating the imperfect look of the space around her. “The environment we are surrounded by is ever changing giving inspiration to capture a landscape that only exists for a transient moment”. Since being introduced to oil paint at a small studio in Nova Scotia, Canada, Carolyn has evolved as an artist, developing her abstract style of painting. The introduction of mixed media, acrylic paint, print making and collage have inspired Carolyn to produce many individual creative works. Carolyn has shown and sold a variety of work in Scotland and Canada.
