Lucy Gordon

I am an artist, living and working in Glasgow. My work is predominantly portrait based and I work with oils, acrylics and other mixed media. 
I use a combination of found imagery, fabricated characters and faces from my own life to create works that swerve from the surreal to the sublime.
My subjects look to engage the viewer with a direct gaze, inviting and inspiring us to imagine their lives, familiar yet fictional, inscrutable and obscure.
