Barbara McMahon

In 1971 I attended Glasgow School of Art part-time to study Life Drawing - using oils. I later attended Strathclyde University for 2 years studying Drawing & Painting. As a member of Paisley Artists Art Club (1985-2015) I held positions of Secretary, Exhibition Secretary, and President at various times. during this period I regularly sold paintings at annual exhibitions. Member of Barrhead Artists Art Club for several years, again, regularly selling at annual Exhibitions. Exhibited & sold at Open Art Show in Pittenweem, & also at my own venue in 2012. I have exhibited & sold regularly for Accord Hospital, and other local charities for many years, as well as volunteering my time to help with  Art Therapy for Day-Patients for roughly 5 years ending in 2019. I also took Art Classes for the members of Band F Club in Barrhead for 10 years. 

I enjoy art as a hobby, and would be delighted if my work is accepted for The Big Art Show.
