Ashley Patrick is a creative now based in Scotland who enjoys using the ordinary and the everyday to explore the landscape and convey a sense of place, a notion of time; wherever or whenever that happens to be.

Through their work, they invite us to reconsider our relationship to the places and times in which we exist, recasting them in a way that celebrates their existence. Finding intrinsic value in the mundane and often overlooked, they capture a grander narrative, one that emphasises the significance of our ordinary, everyday essence.

Their work speaks as much of the process itself and of the feelings this brings out, as it does of the source of inspiration before them. All executed in both traditional and non-traditional mediums and materials.

Everything has a quality in it, so take joy in the little things, revel in the previously unnoticed and wonder at how things came together to just simply be.
