Emily McHaffie

Hi my name is Emily and I like to paint landscapes. My medium of choice is oil paint, however recently I have started using Acrylics too. I find painting to be very therapeutic. It’s a way to switch off and recharge; to find a quiet space from the noise that life can sometimes bring. 

I take inspiration from nature and the outdoors primarily. This became more important during lockdown where being outdoors allowed me to relax, centre and feel a sense of freedom. I hope that this is reflected in my paintings.
