Allan McAneny

Studied Illustration & Printmaking at DJCA Dundee, Graduated 1982. Became interested in Wood Engraving/ Linocutting. Worked as an Illustrator/ Graphic Artist for Angus District Libraries and Museums Service, also did some work on backdrops for local am dram groups in Brechin. My work is mainly of landscapes, and although I like making drawings and paintings in the field my prints are more abstract; I dont create the illusion of a third dimension and concentrate instead on the appeal of pattern, texture and composition.
