Alison Brewster

Alison Brewster is an award-winning Glasgow based artist, having graduated with First Class Hons in Contemporary Art Practice from University of the West of Scotland.

Inspired by current affairs, personal memories, situations, and experiences she enjoys experimenting with recycled/reclaimed materials, especially single use paper products. This methodology allows freedom to construct both 2D and 3D pieces using a variety of disciplines and techniques from fine art to printing, to collage and sculpture.

As helping to raise environmental awareness is an extremely important issue, she enjoys challenging perceptions while maintaining sustainability as her work ethos demonstrates.

This artist regularly participates in collaborative exhibitions both in the UK and USA and has undertaken private commissions.

She has already been involved in and continues to support several charity fundraisers.
