In a world where we are marred by the societal after-effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, I have found myself increasingly interested in street photography which captures a snapshot of daily life, of subjects which previously would have been considered unthinkable. Some of my most powerful works have captured the heartbreaking reality of the cost of living crisis in the United Kingdom. As a photographer, I feel duty bound to use my creativity to capture such moments and turn the new ordinary into the extraordinary; my aim is always to tell a story through my images. As I see it, I am capturing living history and serving an important purpose in a world where the new norm is so increasingly unkind to humanity as a whole.
