Elena Knox

A graduate of Glasgow School of Art (2001), I like to experiment with different materials and often work in mixed media, but in the main my paintings are oil on canvas. I find inspiration for my work in nature, history and the inner world of human relationships. This painting is part of a series entitled ‘Hide and Seek’ which explores the complexity and vulnerability of a child’s life, where memories, dreams and observations are blurred together.
