I create art that encapsulates the depth and complexity of human emotion. Through an intuitive process of call and response, I allow shapes, lines, and colors to emerge and take on a life of their own, blending paint and mixed media to achieve a textured and layered effect. Each piece is an exploration of coincidence and unexpected connections, as seemingly unrelated elements combine to create new meaning and depth. My work embodies the richness and complexity of our own life experiences, and reveals itself slowly over time, much like the way our own past and present merge to shape our identity. By creating tension between what is seen and what lies beneath the surface, I invite viewers to explore the hidden depths within themselves.
