I have been working on Banners on canvas for 3 years of my studies and have done two years of screen printing, primarily drawing and moving more towards cowards conceptual sculpture. I have produced serval banners at different sizes showing a visual representation of the corrupt investments within arms trade in weapons in the UK. The first large banner shows the chaos within the relations of the Ideal nuclear family and how its sustained essence has decay in the future of mankind. the second banner emphasising the constant battle between the human race and a false sense of deterrence created by the countries holding nuclear weapons. the third, is a test print print using the themed colour of red and blue; Our union jack - I have been experimenting with this colour combination holding apposing temepratues and connotations of colonialism and violence - as its held by the nations of France, Russia, Britain and the USA. associated either with previous monarchies, revolts and war. 

My work with tapestries had grown low on hope in its relation to Nuclear terror, it can be burnt and torn in what its intention fears the most. this lack of hope was one of the reasons I started working with ceramics, its a material that is fired at such a high temperature that its able to withstand the the heat of a nuclear weapon, also able to be used within lock-on tubes in actions of disruption against nuclear missiles as angle grinders and machinery also have a hard time cutting through ceramics.
