Emily Korankye

I have always love to draw, paint and create. In the past I have used acrylic and watercolors, but once I found soft pastels I haven't looked back, I'm drawn to the vibrant colours, the blending and layering, I love adding lots of details and mark making. I love the process, and ultimately the feeling when a new piece is created. My favourite subjects are wildlife and animals, I feel connected to a painting where there is life, and it's for that reason I like to get the eyes and nose completed early on in the process to cement that connection.
