Barry Adamson

Paisley-born artist Barry Adamson is inspired by things he sees and paints them as authentically as he can. He paints so other people can enjoy the images. He loves to sketch passersby when he's on holiday, sketch his friends, occasionally sketch a celebrity. Barry works in oils, acrylics, watercolours and pastels. Based in Glasgow, he often exhibits in online exhibitions, occasionally in bricks-and-mortar exhibitions, for example, the photomontage exhibited in Rome in 2020. He has sold seven paintings to date, six are in Scotland and one in Norway. Barry is a graduate of Edinburgh College of Art and had a former career as a graphic designer.
