StatementI would like to explore the unknown, hidden aspects of our life. Not knowing what we may encounter and with a bit of fear reaching into that hidden area. Is it going to be a fun and pleasant experience or a dangerous one? Not knowing and yet going for it is the inspiration behind my "underwater” series of paintings.
I am also interested in the way colours and light can create different atmospheres and evoke specific emotions. Through that interaction between colours and light I would like to find a way to connect with the viewers. I am interested to see the subconscious reaction to the artwork and the conscious interpretation that follows it.
