This painting is part of my seascape series, inspired cold water swimming and the surreal sky's of Scotland. 'The End of the Storm' shows the moment a storm begins to break and bright sunshine bursts through the clouds bringing a change in weather and a shift in mood. To me this light is symbolic of hope and a calming relief.
