This painting is part of my seascape series, inspired by cold water swimming and surreal Scottish skies. One of the benefits of taking the plunge all throughout winter is how luxuriously warm our Scottish lochs and seas can feel in summer by comparison. This painting represents swimming in the crystal clear waters of the North West Coast, particularly from the beautiful sandy beaches of Arisaig.
