I am interested in work that is on the borderline between art forms - in particular, visual art and poetry. This work is part of a series exploring the use of professional language to define and catergorise the experience and treatment of people diagnosed with mental illness. I took the text of the found poetry unedited from my psychiatric case notes, blended with colour and form to express the agitation provoked by long-term exposure to mental health services.The text partially erased by the agitated use of colour and geometric circles to express the patient experience trapped in tightly circumscribed engagement with psychiatric services
