Being a foreigner in Scotland, I return very often to the different identities and the differences in cultures. Due to these differences in language and in various cultural aspects, and my introvert character, I have found myself in several occasions to be the ‘other’, the different, or hidden in the shadows, in order not to attract attention. For this work, I explored the shadows, the way they move, and drew around them with acrylic colours and threads on cotton textile.
