This body of work investigate the subtlety of feminine sexuality and reclaiming one’s individuality spiritually and physically. Reminiscing on the biblical story of Adam and Eve I wanted to explore Eve’s perspective, without the dominance of Adam from my own female gaze. The aesthetic of present world of idealism and fashion was inspired by the story telling of Renaissance Art and Dutch painting. My personal connection to the model, who happen to be named Eve, has informed an intimacy and vulnerability of inner prowess that may be unbeknownst to a stranger. Beauty is important but just as important is the soul that colours all aspects of vitality and energy which lies in the darkness of deep night and shadow, from which Eve emerges and submerges into the mystery of her existence
