This painting has become one of my personal favourite works. I was building up the colour in the painting in the background, this was to bring the iris and azalea flowers to the front. I was relaxed and enjoyed this painting, I had soft music playing in the days I was building up the painting. Everything worked well and i am very pleased with the end result.
