Sea Witch - Inspired by the deep, moody blues and greens of the ocean, interspaced with bright, contrasting limes, chartreuses and reds of ocean plant life.
This woven wall hanging has been created using a variety of natural fibres, including wool, cotton, bamboo, cotton, raffia, twine, merino, silk, ribbon, brass beads and hand spun art yarn by Aurore. The fibres and colours are blended together and the result is a textured statement hanging that begs to be touched. The piece is mounted on a piece of foraged wood, decorated with gold foil.

- All the fibres used in this piece have been sourced from small, British businesses. It is an integral part of Aurores ethos as an artist to source from local businesses, and strive to make as little impact on the environment as possible through her practice.
