This is a tribute for the Grey Heron, the little guy at the White Cart River in Paisley. If you look at the feathers, I have incorporated the Paisley Pattern.
This piece is part of the "BRAW BIRDS” Collection, which currently is 3 pieces all freehand painted by Cheryl Galbraith Art. Each bird painted has a little added extra detail within their feathers.
My inspiration was wanting to showcase some strong wild birds out there and give them a touch of colour & emotion.
