The diptych came from a recent research project I made where I became fascinated with the interlinking ways this place impacts upon many who pass through, hang out, or cross over on their way home to work, or to school. The liminal space is architecturally interesting too. It has angles and concrete casting worth noting. Comar meaning confluence relates to the Annick Water and Clerkland Water that meet at this point. Often there is a heron on present and historically young people have met here for many years.
