Eternal Bliss, a song written by Glasgow-based singer song writer Bethany Barrie, beautifully illustrates the battle we all face when dealing with the death of a loved one. The song deals with having faith that, ultimately, we end up in a better place; a place of ‘Eternal Bliss’.
Having gone through a sudden loss of a sibling last year, I strived to create something that shows a whirlwind of emotion. Although my heart is sucked into a chaos of grief this peace illustrates my ultimate hope of ‘Eternal Bliss’; hanging onto a thread that ‘It’ll be alright’. With flowing streams, vibrant colours and tearing texture, I hope you feel my raw emotion through this piece.
