This painting was carried out using oils on gessoed MDF and has been varnished. I grew up in Bridge of Weir and this painting depicts a spot next to the river Gryffe where I would often go to play during the summer. When looking at this painting I can almost sense the cool, fresh air and I hope that other viewers have this impression too.
