Mosaic portrait, using hand cut stained glass, glass pebbles and millefiori glass. Part of my Flower Girls series, this portrait is of my sister in law. The incorporation of red roses signifies love, no surprises there! However what people don’t know, is that Rosie’s love does not not flourish for a lover, she is looking lovingly at me and my dad on my wedding day. The Flower Girls series celebrates feminism and ‘Rosie’ in particular celebrates sisterhood and the love of family.
