This painting of my sublime daughter is done with oils on canvas and it depicts her sitting in our dining room. It was first painted a few years ago but I returned to it in 2023 and changed it over and over again getting the combinations of colours right and also making corrections that reflected changes in Lauren’s appearance since its early manifestation. For example the tattoo is a recent addition. Predictably enough Lauren has changed again in the short time since this painting was updated but I won’t be making any further alterations to it now.
