This piece is inspired by the Greek mythology monster, Medusa. It is one of the pieces that was done for my uni project this year. It was painted with acrylic and I wanted to highlight the more human side to Medusa in the portrait, due to the many different variations of the story, some of which make her the victim not the villain.
