Painting of the track 'Hypnotised' by the band Tuneyards. I paint music. I have synesthesia and see music in colour depending on the pitch, timbre, rhythm, tempo. In this piece the pink is very much how I see the lead singer's voice. The bright exuberance of colour reflects how I hear the upbeat positivity of this song and the textural splashes reflect all the detailed nuances in the textures of the music. I find Tuneyards music so upbeat and positive. Reminds me of bright colours, sweeties from my childhood - sherbet dips and flying saucers.
