Inspired by the encroachment of industrial activity and the impact it has on the natural environment. Hand drawn image on copper plate coated in bee’s wax, etched in acid, inked up and printed through the etching press onto paper. The use of aquatint powder creates different variations in texture and depth. The copper plate has also been heavily etched in acid to further capture the deep impact of human activity on the landscape.
