I created this painting after visiting beautiful Glen Rosa on the Isle of Arran, one of the magnificent Scottish islands with an outstanding view. This moment of tranquillity was when I was sitting on one of the glistening rocks with my feet dipped into the fresh ice-cold water of the stream as I felt a deep connection with my surroundings.
