I was experiencing loss and grief and was unable to see the light at the end. I threw my inks at the canvas paper and used paint brushes to beat out my frustrations. I had someone once tell me I will be loved again and again. I wanted to create that feeling through my figures and express that peace that fell over me hearing those words. I painted them faceless and limbless so that anybody could interpret the figures as their own personal guardians.
