Inspired by the short story 'The Yellow Wallpaper' by I used film camera Charlotte Perkins Gilman I wanted to tackle the topics within the novel in a visual way. I used a film camera and photographed within an abandoned mental asylum. I then painted over the photographs using yellow acrylic to try and capture the energy of the story.
