Part of my self titled, Pilgrimage Project for 20203 where I create art based on significant journeys. My family have a tradition of building small rock cairns when we visit beaches and this painting was inspired by a photograph I took whilst on a family holiday to Aberaeron, Wales in April 2022. The piece is experimental as I challenged myself to paint only using 2 colours.
