This original artwork is from my Golden Sands collection, which captures the vibrant colours of crystal-clear waters on a bright, sunny day. This piece is inspired by my love of spending time near the water’s edge, steeped in the sense of relaxation that comes from watching waves roll onto the shore.
It was created using layers of fluid art mediums such as alcohol inks and epoxy resin, combined with beautiful gold leaf to create the effect of a golden beach. The turquoise waves in this piece have been highlighted by gold ink, which captures the light as though the sun is glistening on the water. There is intricate white detailing within the resin, replicating the effect of sea foam tumbling onto the coast.
