e Man-of-the-Woods is hand modelled in contrasting coloured clays. The mythological Green Man represents the changing of the seasons or the cycle of life - birth, life. death and re-birth. He is a character seen throughout the world and in many cultures. His origins go back hundreds of years, but he can still be seen and celebrated today. Although pagan in origin he can be found in grand cathedrals and humble country churches, where he is believed to ward off evil spirits!
