Tree of Life with Doves. The Tree of Life symbol is ancient. It has been represented in Christianity, Ancient Egypt, as well as Buddhist, African, Turkish and Celtic cultures. Although such cultures have different ideals, through history the Tree of Life has commonly symbolized a connection to the afterlife, ancestral roots and divinity. The white doves in this tree symbolise peace.
