Euan Tait

Euan is an emerging visual artist based in Ayrshire,Scotland. He has an experimental develop lead approachto his work using a range of multi-media platforms fromprintmaking, photography, and painting.He addresses architecture and the figurative form thatreflects our aspects of our human condition and explorescolour in many of his pieces, often working on small-scaledetail work but also expands his repertoire by working onlarger scale to convey images with simple brush strokesand abstractions in ephemeral conditions showing theboundaries between representation, reflections, andsurfaces, with a sense of structure and form. Hisinspiration comes from contemporary printmaking andthe resurgence of figurative art within Scotland.His background is in printmaking, and he graduated fromthe University of the West of Scotland, Ayr in July 2024with a BA (Hons) Degree in New Media Art.

Euan is an emerging visual artist based in Irvine, Ayrshire. He has an experimental develop lead approach to his work using a range of multi-media platforms from printmaking, photography, and painting. He addresses architecture and the figurative form that reflects our aspects of our human condition and explores colour in many of his pieces, often working on small-scale detail work but also expands his repertoire by working on larger scale to convey images with simple brush strokes and abstractions in ephemeral conditions showing the boundaries between representation, reflections, and surfaces, with a sense of structure and form. His inspiration comes from contemporary printmaking and the resurgence of figurative art within Scotland. His background is in printmaking, and he graduates from the University of the West of Scotland, Ayr in July 2024 with a BA (Hons) Degree in New Media Art. He is also a member of many art collectives Open Studios Ayrshire, Troon Art Club, Scottish Artist union, Society of Scottish Artists and recently became a member of Glasgow Print Studio.
