Gavin Smith

I have always worked in the arts but primarily in theatre and performance. I trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with a focus on live art installations and performances at venues such as Tramway and Arches. Often these works were inspired by key news events and included sculpture and design. After graduation I worked in theatre and television but during recent lock downs in 2020 and 2021 I began to explore sculpture and working with recycled objects to create installation art works. Having attended the Big Art Show in Paisley last year I was keen to finish some work I had started recently. I can not claim to be a professional artist but hope the panel will be interested in the submission.
