Jacque Scorgie

My work is quite varied in genres as I believe theme and concepts can dictate an appropriate media to use. I tend to work in the form of installation through sculpture, print (traditional and digital) and prose.

 ?I work intuitively whilst experimenting and aim to create works that have levels of meaning that engage an audience to see beyond what is in front of them, but also so that each audience member can take their own interpretation.     

?Some of the key themes within my practice are; nature and the environment; Life and humanity; journeys; the imagination and the made-up world. These themes I approach with the intention of getting the audience to rethink them with a twist of creative thinking.
