Louche was created for a GSA exhibition in their Open Studios. It explores attractive characters that may be morally questionable 'a louche', as views on morality and acceptability ebs and flows to following fashion and social acceptance. For me being a gay man in the 80's was viewed differently then than it is today, so was I a louche? I mixed abstract with elements of figurative painting.
