Rannoch Moor in Snow

I'm drawn to paint landscapes with sharp contrast. In Rannoch Moor in Snow, it was the white of the mountains against a watery sky, contrasting with the dark, still lochan. Horizontal brush strokes were used to simulate the reflection of the small stunted tree in the dark water.
