In ‘memento mori’, I explore epic insignia such as tombstones with latin symbols, Mt. Fuji, skyscrapers, dragons & The Creation of Adam; all juxtaposed with mundane items such as coffees, internet aesthetics & slices of pizza. This is to represent the switching of worlds between one of philosophical contemplation and prosthelytising and Paul’s experiences in hospitality during the pandemic. ?
