This painting was created after an online course on painting boats. One of the pieces was a semi abstract in pastels. I really enjoyed the composition and created larger pieces. This is the largest of them all and the only one in acrylics. Living in a coastal location I love the sea and boats. I think there is something quite magical about the water in moonlight and think this portrays a little of that magic.
