A fabulous beach in Wales, specifically Aberdovey, inspired this painting. That moment of stepping on the beach, whatever the weather, with the days ahead that will be full of every weather condition, many ice creams, beach rugby and chilly dips in the sea. I used the movement of the paint and ink, pattern making and visible brush marks to create a feeling of energy and uplift.
